On Saturday, October 18, 2008 it was Hailey's last soccer game from her first fall season. What a difference the last 2 months have made! She started not knowing a thing about it, staying back when the other girls would kick the ball and playing during the game (with her friends...not the game!). By this game, she was right up there, running with the ball, SCORING A GOAL!, and such a wonderful player. We were so very proud of Hailey...she loves everything she tries and wants to try it all. Quite the athlete we have on our hands now...we love it! :)

And, we had to bring treats for the last game, so I got a "cupcake cake" that looked like a soccer ball for the team. They loved it!! (hey...I just moved into the house the previous night..baking might have just pushed me over my limits!!) Here is the team and another one of Hailey with her metal and certificate.

Those are really nice pictures of Hailey playing soccer. It looks like it was nicer and warmer than when I was there for practice. Great job getting a goal for your team. It pays to practice. Great job Hailey. Love Grandma
